Dear <<First Name>>,
As announced in our previous newsletter, we are now consulting on options for a data access model for energy data. Stakeholder feedback will help us decide on how best to apply the Consumer Data Right in the energy sector.
We will be hosting a consultation forum from 11 am – 1 pm, Monday 18 March 2019in Sydney.
If you would like to attend, please register your attendance by 5 pm Tuesday 12 March 2019.
Procurement of CDR Registry and Accreditation Application Platform
Following a two-stage procurement process through the Digital Marketplace and AusTender, the ACCC has entered a three-year contract with Oakton for the provision of a solution and managed service for the CDR Registry and Accreditation Application Platform.
The Accreditation Application Platform will be used by entities applying to participate in the CDR system and by the ACCC to manage the process of accreditation of such entities. The Registry will be the definitive record of accredited CDR participants and will underpin the integrity and security of CDR data flows.
We expect key development decisions will be informed by stakeholder engagement that will begin in the coming weeks.
Kind regards,
Consumer Data Right Branch
Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)
